Have you ever dreamed of living and studying in America? Students of varying ages from across the globe join ED Homestay programs to pursue a high school education, attend a college or university, improve their English, and to experience the American culture.
ED Homestay provides housing options for:
- High School Students - All our homestays focus on safety and support. In addition to hosts who have been specially certified to care for high school students, students are assigned to a local homestay manager who can check in with them monthly by arrangement. High School Homestays include private bedrooms with study space, private or shared bathrooms, three meals a day, and daily transportation to and from school. Additional services are also available for special needs and extracurricular activities.
- College/University Students - College Students enjoy slightly different services depending on the city, but all locations offer considerable flexibility through tiered options. A student can, for example, choose from several meal plans, ask for a location close to the college, and/or sign up for our concierge transportation service. Fees vary based on the configuration of choices.
- ESL Students - ESL Schools across America have partnered with ED Homestay to provide international students with a trusted and reliable home or apartment complex while they pursue their studies. College students enjoy slightly different services depending on the city, but all locations offer considerable flexibility through tiered options. A student can, for example, choose from several meal plans, ask for a location close to the college, and/or sign up for our concierge transportation service. Fees vary based on the configuration of choices.
- Study Tours (Summer and Winter Camps) - We offer short-term study tour groups the same expertise and best practices of homestay accommodation as our longer-term placements. International tour groups receive all the advantages of our homestays, from our emphasis on safety and support to the cultural benefits of living with a local. We work with educational agents and tour organizers to adapt each homestay package to the type, size, and duration of the tour.
In addition to providing excellent housing options, our Education Consulting and Academic and Cultural Programs provide a hands-on approach to ensure each students' success on their American journey.
Our summer and winter camps, and English immersion programs provide an integrated curriculum focused on preparing students to succeed in American schools.

ESL AND ACADEMIC SUPPORT

- Tutoring is done at the school during study hall or in the host family's home
- Many schools require students to continue with ESL support till they attain a score of 80 on the TOEFL iBT
- Additional support for the essay writing section of college applications Ready pool of qualified teachers with advanced degrees or teaching degrees
- Review of goals, course selection, grades and extracurricular activities for college acceptance
SHORT-TERM PROGRAMS
